Message from Director

Empowering Animation - Need Of The Time

The Charity approach is slowly replaced by People Led Empowerment, PLE. It was the NGO who took initiative to plan and work for the poor and the marginalized, one thought that, we have to reach out to the poor and marginalized, we have to support them as they do not know and they have to be supported. It was the NGO who plan for the people and the people were not and never involved in the process of participatory decision.

Now it is the people let development, it is the people who plan and decide about their development as what are the realities and needs of the community. The whole process is participatory and people and especially the community leaders are involved in the process of planning. They assess the needs of the community therefore they are involved and ready to work for the community. There is a paradigm shift from Charity based approach to now people based approach. Our staffs too are empowered, they are more responsible and are ready to plan the activities and actually implement them. Even our staff is enthused and happy as they are now fully involved.
